I was going over the movie Capitalism A Love Story and this insurance term/type came up. What the people are finding out is that they are worth more dead than alive to their employers.  Take a look…Continue

I wasn't the person looking for romance or any connection like that. I was the one who was solicited by someone named Rita and I did let her know that I'm not interested I'm sorry and disappointed if you thought that I was. Please read the notes through before you make a reply.

Wow. I guess I could post a new pic, but I'm afraid I don't have a picture available that could get any clearer nor do I have access to the technology required to upload a fresh pic. I take what I can get. Sorry. If trust in this network is built based on the corporate standard of what is and isn't acceptable photography I think I just realized I may be in the wrong place no matter how much I like your ideas. I guess there are pigs in oasis.

Yeah I would love to get involved.....I have to say, I really like the changes you have made to the site, Some of the the focus was way off and really damaging to how useful for organizing this site could be. I will leave it at that.

Have any tips for createing a local meet up?

Sadly, I admit not knowing of a good approach to correcting the problems in the U.S., such as the decline of the Middle Class. The politicians and some personalities in the Media have done such a good job of demonizing Socialism, that it is difficult to open people's minds. Also, I have not seen any way for a third party to make any significant changes. Here is an idea; if at all possible, we should become the media. If we can re-frame the debate, and get people talking, we can make a difference. I'm sure you have probably thought of the same thing in the past. Can we put a team together to discover what it takes to start? Maybe we can team up with Democracy Now? We would have to think bigger though. Democracy Now is not having enough impact. Amy Goodman is one of my heroes. I wish more people knew who she was. Take Care Atlee, Andy

From what I have seen, most groups that call themselves Socialist are not productive. Although I consider myself a Socialist, I personally generally define Socialism more as an Economic Philosophy than as a Moral Philosophy. Ironically, when I take those online tests that are supposed to define whether a person leans to the left or right, etc...  I generally come out right in the middle. However, I am very much behind Social Security, Socialized Medicine, etc...  I am also very much behind the idea of increasing the standard of living for the lower and middle classes. Currently the wealth in America is being redistributed from the poor and middle class to the rich. If you have any solutions for these problems, share them with me, and I will try to help. Thanks for the response,  Andy

Atlee, from what I have read, you appear to be quite the fire cracker.
For many reasons I dislike communism and fascism.
It appears obvious to me that Socialism and Capitalism created the Middle Class in America.
Why should I support America's Socialist Party?
Thanks for a response,
Andy

Atlee, I am already on the Texas group's Board.  I think I uploaded my picture.  I am concerned about these right winger's holding themselves out as Socialists and leftists when everything I hear from them indicates that they are just the opposite..
