Wisconsin: Recall, Reform, Rebuild

"...this isn’t just going in Madison. There continue to be protests in other parts of the state. High school students have done walkouts in Milwaukee, Eau Claire, Sheboygan. On Sunday thousands protested in Green Bay at an event where Walker spoke."

Is solidarity finally a reality for workers and the struggles of Unions? We would all like to think that this is the case. However the current attack on workers rights happening all over the Country indicates that this maybe a very dangerous time for the both the working  poor and middle class. The right to collective bargaining is only the tip of the iceberg. There has been and continues to be efforts to pass the right to work option spelled out within the very same document which gives the union collective bargaining rights. The right to work law essentially gives the State the power to choose not to abide with Unions, and companies have to right to choose no union.

A real reform needs to happen, workers now more than ever need to unite and push back the  corporate take-over of the Government. Without workers, the corporations could not produce nor provide services, hence could not make profits. So a global general strike with boycotts of products is essential to demonstrate we mean business. And this can begin right in our neighborhoods.
